Another JewelMint’s video was released. This time Kate is in Morocco! To the gallery have been added 278 caps from video.
Yep, we’re jealous. In the second of her new series of short fashion films, Kate Bosworth makes a stylish pilgrimage to Morocco on behalf of her burgeoning jewelry line and site, JewelMint.
Shot by filmmaker Michael Polish, the movie follows the actress through a Moroccan street market — and through several fashionable costume changes — to the tune of Broken Social Scenes’s “Ungrateful Little Father.”
Bosworth and her JewelMint team (which includes stylist pal Cher Coulter) launched the video series on Jan. 12 with the debut film, “The Look.” In the future, a new clip featuring the chic star will premiere at the beginning of every month.
So what makes this late January video so special? It was released in conjunction with the launch of Bosworth’s brand new Twitter account, @KateBosworth. And it comes with a deal: PEOPLE StyleWatch readers can get 20 percent off of their first JewelMint purchase by using code Morocco20 at checkout. Happy shopping!
And another one interview with Kate and girls was added to the internet. This time it’s interview for Celebs.com. In the gallery you can now find caps from this video. Enjoy!
Back in 2009, which was the first HitFix trip to Sundance, I enjoyed two of the movies we saw, “Humpday” and “The Freebie.” This year, both creative teams are here in different combinations, and again, I think it’s interesting work. In the case of “Black Rock,” this is about as far away from Katie Aselton’s first film as it could be.
“The Freebie” told the story of a married couple, played by Aselton and Dax Shepherd, who decide to give each other the night off from marriage, with no consequences, allowing their partner to sleep with anyone they want. There are, of course, ramifications to a choice like that, and the film did a nice job of showing how that fallout might land. This time, Aselton is working in a very different genre, one that she’s not a fan of for the most part, and she had to develop a tight relationship with the two women who co-star both with and for her.
Sunday morning, my first scheduled activity was a sit down with Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, and Aselton. And like I said, there are definitely far worse ways to start a day. I’ve interviewed Kate Bosworth a few times in the past, and simply put, she’s a bright, charming working actor with no ego I’ve ever detected. When I hosted a screening for “The Rules Of Engagement” at the Egyptian in Hollywood several years ago, I went out for dinner with the cast afterwards, and what was clear from that conversation was just how up for a challenge Bosworth is in general. She took that role because she wanted to do something dangerous, and in “Black Rock,” she seems equally up to the task. Read the rest of this entry »
It’s a good news for us. We’ll be able to watch Kate’s new movie Black Rock at big screen because it’s picked up! More info below:
{…}Meanwhile, the distaff thriller Black Rock – about three friends (Kate Bosworth, Lake Bell, and Katie Aselton, who also directed) whose vacation on a remote island turns terrifying — was snapped up today by LD Distribution for a reported $1 million.
Hi guys. Yesterday was day three of 2012 Sundance Film Festival and Kate received the Spotlight Initiative Award. I’ve added to the gallery some photos from this day but be sure that I’ll add more.

And here it is. The first interview with Kate, Lake Bell and Katie Aselton from 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
When asked about seeing the film for the first time at the upcoming premiere, Kate said, “I’m excited to be in the audience for the film like this, you taking what Katie does so well her tone and applying it to a thriller. I think it will be a really really neat experience as an audience member.“
2012 Sundance Film Festival is a time for promotion of movies and interviews. Today Kate will receive the Spotlight Initiative Award and I hope that we will be able to see photos and videos from this event. But I want to write about something else. To the gallery have been added photos from interviews for MTV News and ET! Online. These interviews should appear on the internet soon, so stay tuned!
